Do I need to know music theory?
No. You learn notes, chords, and scales by playing. That’s exactly what Musizz is for.
Does it work with my instrument?
It works with guitar, bass, piano, ukulele, and any instrument that plays notes. Musizz recognizes the note you play through your device’s microphone.
Does Musizz record what I play?
No. The sound is processed on your device and never sent to a server. The microphone only turns on when you start a round.
Is it really free?
Yes. You can play up to 5 rounds a day without paying anything. To play without limits, just go Premium.
Where can I play?
On iPhone and iPad through the App Store, and on your computer, right in the browser. The same account works on all of them.
Is there an Android version?
We’re working on it, and it’s coming soon. For now, you can play in the browser on your Android phone.
Do I need any gear?
No. Just your instrument and the microphone on your phone, tablet, or computer. For the best results, play close to the device in a quiet room.
How do I cancel Premium?
Whenever you like. If you subscribed on iPhone or iPad, cancel in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. If you subscribed in the browser, go to Account > Manage subscription in Musizz, or use the link in your confirmation and renewal emails. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
